Asiana A380 Business Class can mean standard Business Smartium or the separate, paid Business Suite seat option on eligible tickets. The A380 also is not guaranteed on every route or date, so verify the operating aircraft, fare eligibility, and infant seating before booking.

What is the difference between Smartium and Business Suite?

Business Smartium is the standard Business product; Business Suite is an additional seat option sold for eligible Business tickets. Asiana’s Business Suite information lists the current eligibility, purchase, and seat conditions, which can vary with fare and date.

Do not assume the Suite is included because the ticket says Business. Review the current price and refund terms on your own booking, and check whether the requested seat choice works with the way your family needs to sit.

Is Asiana operating the A380 on your route?

Check the aircraft attached to the exact flight and date. Asiana’s current notice lists A380 service between Sydney and Seoul from October 19, 2026, through March 28, 2027, but the airline says schedules may change; a route announcement does not guarantee the plane on a future departure.

The Sydney–Seoul schedule notice is date-bounded. Reopen your reservation after a schedule change and confirm the operating aircraft before relying on A380-specific seat or bassinet details.

Which seats should a family compare?

Review the current seat map for the adult-child pair, aisle access, privacy shells, and any infant equipment locations. If a parent and child must sit adjacent, check the precise seats and the Suite’s eligibility rules before purchasing; the product name alone does not confirm where the family can sit.

Our Singapore Airlines 787-10 guide offers a separate example of why families should compare actual cabin maps. It is not evidence about Asiana’s aircraft or seat assignment.

Can you request a bassinet in A380 Business?

Asiana says its A380 Business bassinet is for an infant up to 71 cm and under 10 kg. It must be requested in advance and is subject to availability, so contact the airline early and confirm the booking after any aircraft change.

The airline’s travelling-with-minors page has the current request information. Check infant ticketing, restraint options, and the seat beside the bassinet directly with Asiana; do not assume every Business or Suite seat can be paired with the equipment.

Keep the infant’s essentials close and confirm equipment by flight rather than packing around an unverified bassinet assignment.

Which option should your family book?

Choose standard Smartium or a paid Suite only after matching the seat to your child, the route to the aircraft schedule, and the price to the family’s priorities. If the itinerary changes, repeat the aircraft, seat, and infant-equipment checks.

Frequently asked questions

Is Asiana Business Suite the same as Business Smartium?

No. Business Suite is a separate paid seat option for eligible Business tickets; standard Business Smartium is a different product. Check the current eligibility and price for your booking.

Does every Asiana A380 flight have the same Business cabin?

Do not assume that every route or date uses an A380. Asiana publishes a date-bounded Sydney–Seoul A380 schedule, but schedules can change; confirm the aircraft on your ticket.

Can I request a bassinet in Asiana A380 Business Class?

Asiana lists an A380 Business bassinet for infants up to 71 cm and under 10 kg. It must be requested in advance and is subject to availability.

Is the Business Suite fee included in the Business fare?

The Suite is a separate paid seat option on eligible Business fares. Current eligibility, purchase windows, fees, and refund conditions depend on the ticket and booking date.

Can my infant sit beside a parent in Business Suite?

Check the current Business Suite conditions and live seat map with Asiana. Infant equipment and adjacent seat rules can depend on the aircraft and seat option.
